Hey guys! I just got back from the Nationals v. Braves baseball game that I went to with the boyfriend and a couple of good friends. Today I decided to go with a new Fall polish that fits the trend of ugly pretty perfectly. This is China Glaze Trendsetter from the Fall Metro collection. It's 3 Free and a yellow tinged dusty green packed with micro-shimmer.
2 coats Trendsetter + Seche Vite, natural light
As I said yesterday, yellows can be terrible formula-wise. I know - this isn't a yellow. However, this seems to yellow/green combo and I as concerned that this could be problematic. It's actually pretty great. The first coat is definitely not perfectly even, but the second coat is smooth. I was actually shocked when I painted this on and noticed that there was a shimmer in this. It looked like a straight up creme when I grabbed the bottle, but it's totally shimmery. I'm not positive when the official release is, but I was able to snag this off of evilbay last week. My boyfriend says this looks like green pee, but he doesn't know much about the whole ugly but pretty fad.
